Journey9 is happy to support:

Journey9 is delighted to support Team David in aid of the SMA Trust .

Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) is a genetic degenerative neuromuscular disease.  The Journey9 team has fallen in love with the captain of Team David, David Dee, a totally gorgeous little boy from Cheshire who has been diagnosed with SMA Type II.  He’s a bit too young at the moment to partake in any of the fundraising events, so he’s delegated all event planning to his willing and able team!

Journey9 is proud to be helping to organise the inaugural Platinum Ball, taking place at the Lowry Hotel in Manchester on Saturday, 6th October 2012.  There are table packages and sponsorships available for the Ball.  Contact us for more information, to book your tickets or if you’d like to help in any way.

Journey9 has been supporting the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital for the past two years through both pro bono support and fundraising activities.  Journey9 was delighted to work with the Appeal on its Many Hands Campaign, which was spearheaded by businessman and TV personality Theo Paphitis.  In April 2012, our Managing Director’s 6 year old son took on a challenge of his own, swimming for the Appeal. At the time of writing, Natan has raised almost £4,000 by swimming 1000m (40 lengths) in under 44 minutes. Quite a feat for one so young!  The site is still open for donations here.

Journey9 is proud to support the Hospital to raise funds to ensure continued excellence in treatment, care and research, enhancing the lives of thousands of children each year.

iNspire is a not for profit organisation borne out of an idea to support, encourage and develop small charities by aligning them with the business skills of successful entrepreneurs, leaders and professional organisations who have all donated time and expertise free to help the charities achieve their objectives.

These charities are led by passionate and enthusiastic individuals and are looking to grow and develop but often lack key business skills and generally need help and support to move things forward.

iNspire aims to connect these charities with the entrepreneurs and senior business and industry leaders who are able to provide those necessary skills and also to professional advisors who are able to provide invaluable guidance, which these charities would not otherwise have access to at this stage of their development.

Our Managing Director, Laura Wolfe, sits on the Board of the charity.
